Mr.Ganti Prasad's case hearing on June 30

Jeypore.June.21: Mr.Ganti Prasad the eminent Maoist leader's case has been postponed for hearing on 30 June 2011 by the Koraput Sub-Divisional Judicial Magistrate S.K.Patnaik. Magistrate directed Koraput jail Superintend to produce Mr.Prasad before court on the hearing date. According to the public prosecutor Pramod Kumer Padhy Mr.Prasad presently lodged at Ongol jail of Prakasam district in Andhra Pradesh. According the agreement made between Naxalite mediators and the Orissa state Government to release five Maoists during the kidnap saga of the former Malkangiri Collector Mr.Vineela Krishna and Junior Engineer Pravitra Mohan Majhi  the state government filed a petition for seeking withdrawal of cases against the Maoist leaders. On behalf of  State Government the public prosecutor filed two petitions before Koraput SDJM court and Jeypore District Judge court on 9 th June 2011.
