25 CMAS workers acquitted in murder case

Jeypore August 18: Jeypore Additional District Judge Suresh Kumar Patnaik passed the verdict on Wednesday, for acquittal of 25 Chasi Mulia Adivasi Sangh (CMAS) Narayanpatna workers in a murder case.
According to police, some members of CMAS Narayanpatna allegedly killed Mr Sukan Milka by slitting his throat,  in front of Mr Brundaban Subuddi's house in Tentulipodar village on 28 March 2010. Police have arrested 25 CMAS workers in this regard and produced them before court. After examining 9 witnesses, Additional District Judge acquitted all the 25 accused due to lack of evidence. Advocates Prabhakar Rao Patnaik and Arati Mohanty defended the accused.
