Awareness rally on dengue

Dengue awareness rally by SEEWA Jeypore
Jeypore August 24: The Social Educational Environment Welfare Association (SEEWA), Jeypore has organised a dengue awareness rally on Wednesday to spread awareness on dengue (a disease caused by a virus that is spread through mosquito bite) among the people of Jeypore.
The rally was flagged off by Jeypore Municipality Chairperson Mrs Geeta Nanda. Jeypore Sub-collector Mr Ajit Kumar Mallik, Health Officer  Dr.K.K.Sarkar were present on the occasion.

The rally started from Rath Podia,  students and scout guides holding placards, banners marched through the main road and they interacted with the people informing them about the causes and preventive measures to be taken to keep dengue at bay. The SEEWA President Mr.Ajay Mishra, Secretary Pramod Kumar Roulo and members Mr Anand Mundra, Mr.Deepak Shodangi, Mr. Neer Patnaik, Mr.Pradyupta Sahu, and Rabindra Nath Sahu took part in the rally. Hundreds of students and Scout Guides from educational institutions Saraswati Shisu Mandir, Municipal High School, JELC School, Girls High School, Modern School and Florence Nightingale ANM training center participated in the rally.
