Land identified for Govt. Polytechnic College

Jeypore. August 7: 13.76 acres of land for Government Polytechnic College has been identified at Rondapalli village near Jeypore. In a meeting held at Jeypore recently Mr.Bimal Chandhra Das Executive Engineer public works department Jeypore said that a report on the proposed site has been sent to the District Collector Koraput for approval and after approval tender will be issued for work. Further he stated that accommodation for college building, hostal for boys and girls, quarters for Principal and other college staff, park and interlinked street lights will be setup in the premises. He told that the Government will spend Rs.9.86 crore for the college building, expecting the work would be completed by 2013. Principal Gopabandhu ITI Ambaguda, Mr.Manoranjan Naik presided the meeting and said that the Polytechnic college will function under Director of Technical Education,Cuttack.
