Country's first standardized district website portal launched in Nabarangpur

Nabarangpur. October 15: India's first standardized district website, the Nabarangpur district portal was launched here on Saturday.
The Orissa State Information and Technology Minister Mr Ramesh Chandra Majhi launched the portal in the inauguration ceremony held at the Ashok Mehta conference hall in Nabarangpur. Expressing his pleasure while addressing the ceremony Mr.Majhi said the website will help common people to obtain information about the district. Even people can obtain forms and different data of the district. He urged all the people to access the website and utilize the facilities. The Minister said this web portal will become a milestone in e-Governance System. Speaking on the occasion The District Collector Mr.Sibabrata Das said we feel proud to launch the standardized district web portal,  in the Nabarangpur district first. Anyone can easily access and know everything about the district administration, and can obtain details of different ongoing programs.

During the inaugural ceremony Managing Director of Luminous Infoways Mr.Tanmay Mahanty and Director Jayanti Mahanty explained about the various functions of the web portal. Instead of typing separate addresses for each district public can access all the district links at website address in a single page. Several district administrative officials including Sub Collector Suman Behera, Additional District Collector Mr. Narendra Kumar Pradhan, DRDA Project Administrator Mr.James Ekka, District Public Relation Officer Mr.Bhujang Bhushan Rao were present on the occasion.
