86th birth anniversary of Sri Satya Sai Baba celebrated

86th birth anniversary of Bhagwan Sri Satya Sai Baba 
Jeypore.November.24: Bhagawan Sri Satya Sai Baba 86th Birth day was celebrated with great enthusiasm by Sri Satya Sai Seva Samiti Jeypore at the prayer hall of Sai Bhawan on Wednesday.
The program was started at 04.45 AM with Omkaram, Suprabhatam and Nagara Sankirtan, Sri Satyanarayana Vratham, Mahaprsad Sevana, Veda chanting, Deepa Prajvalana and Bhajan followed by Divine Flag Hosting by the District President of Sri Satya Sai Seva Samiti Mr.S.Nagabhusana Rao.
On the eve of Baba's Birth day a rally was organised by the seva samity in which many devotees were participated. Mr.Nagabhusana Rao narrated the life history, divine and social services of Sri Saya Sai Baba at a meeting organised in the evening.  Mr.G.Manmada Rao, Convener of Sri Satya Sai Seva Samity also participated in the meeting.

Many social service programs were conducted in various villages to mark the occasion. The Samiti observed 19th Nov as Mahila day and conducted Bala Vikas Grand Parents meet. They organised Gram Seva, Medical Camp, Veterinary Camp, Sanitation Awareness camps at Balia, Bisoiput and Chandili villages on 20th of this month.
Clothes distribution 
Food items and clothes were distributed to the inmates of Old Age Home and Anath Ashram(Orphanage) by the Women wing of seva samiti. Food and Clothes were also distributed to the patients of Jeypore Government Hospital by the gents wing of Sri Satya Sai Baba Seva Samity. The Youth wing distributed clothes and food in  Bodoiguda and Nuaguda villages.
Free Medical Camp
On the day the Samiti organised a Veterinary Medical Camp at Bisoiput village under Kalia gram panchayat. As many as 510 House hold animals were examined and treated by Dr.Prasad Patnaik and Dr.Ranjan Dey. The Seva Samiti also conducted a free medical camp at Bisoiput village in which 130 patients were examined by Dr.Prafulla Kumar Panda on the day. All the patients were given free medicine and advised on further required treatment by Dr.Panda. 
Veterinary camp
The Samiti also organised several cultural and satsangh programs on the eve. They've conducted grama seva programs, medical, veterinary and awareness camps at Sondiguda,Godiguda Pokanaguda villages and distributed clothes to the villagers.
